I hope you are well and feeling that spring is definitely in the air. Here in London there’s been some beautiful sunny days where you can really sense the change of seasons, how’s the weather been where you are?

So a few things to chat about this week…

Firstly here is another piece of menswear from the Joules collection we have at QVC. A lightweight navy jumper with trendy zip-pull detail on the collar, perfect for this time of year when it’s not warm enough to wear just a shirt or need another layer underneath a coat. You can see the watch I’m wearing which is also by Joules; lots of people have commented on this when I’ve been wearing on-air so all the details are here.
I was away in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, this weekend and what a wonderful time in one of the most incredible cities I have ever visited. It was my first time there and over the three days we explored lots of the history and culture of the city as well as beautiful food, good weather, really friendly people and of course the famous Pastel de Nata custard tarts - rather lethal if you like me you have a sweet tooth! You can see in the pictures some of the moments from my trip; I was amazed at the incredible street art and visual character of the city as well as the architecture and mixture of building styles. A city I would definitely like to go back to and explore again in the near future.
A real highlight was Guest Audition Day where I met one of the runners up of The Great British Bake Off 2017, Steven Carter-Bailey. I was rather starstruck to meet him as I am a big fan of The Bake Off and I thought he did so well in that series. So we had a great time chatting about the show and, as you can imagine, he did very well in the audition process so hopefully you will see him at QVC in the kitchen at some point soon.food.
A highlight of the year (2018) was catching up with my friend Iain, he lives in the States and I only get to see him once a year. It’s great how we have stayed friends all these years despite living in different countries - we realised we’d met in 1995… Oh how time flies!
